On Thursday, April 23, 2026, Ms. Sucharee Picha, Director of the Office of Agricultural Economics Region 1, attended the opening ceremony of the event “Travel Northern Towns, Taste Lanna Local Fruits,” organized by the Marketing Organization for Farmers (MOF). The event was held at Meechok Plaza, Faham Subdistrict, Mueang Chiang Mai District, Chiang Mai Province. Dr. Pornthep Srithanathorn, Inspector General of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives for Inspection Area 15, presided over the ceremony.
The objective of the event is to expand marketing channels and create new market opportunities to increase the value of economic fruit crops. It also aims to distribute both fresh and processed fruits, while providing farmers with opportunities to promote their products and gain greater recognition among consumers.
