On July 18, 2025, Ms. Sucharee Picha, Director of Regional Agricultural Economics Office 1, and officials from the Research and Evaluation Division participated in the launch ceremony of the Royal Development Project Area-Based Management Manual using the One Plan process to support Royal Development projects in the Northern Region. The event was held at the Lana Ballroom, Shangri-La Hotel Chiang Mai, Chang Khlan Sub-district, Mueang District, Chiang Mai Province, with Mr. Plakorn Suwannarath, Privy Councilor, presiding. The management manual was presented to government executives and provincial governors, and distributed online to provincial and district committees across all 17 northern provinces.
The event also featured a panel discussion on the results of the workshop implementation, with six panelists including Mr. Sayumporn Limthai from the Manual Development Working Group, Mr. Wachara Hasbhak, Development Advisor from the Office of the Royal Development Projects Board, Mr. Chesta Mosirat, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, Mr. Nirat Pongsittithavorn, Governor of Chiang Mai Province, Mr. Thawee Sermpakdikul, Governor of Phitsanulok Province, and Mr. Chainarong Wongyai, Governor of Nan Province. The session was moderated by Mr. Suthat Tangpiphatpong, Director of Area Project Coordination Division 3, to discuss approaches for driving and developing continuation plans for area-based Royal Development projects in the northern region, specifically in Nan, Phitsanulok, and Chiang Mai provinces, leading to the integration of relevant agencies to effectively promote and support local communities.
