On 21 November 2025, Ms. Sucharee Picha, Director of the Office of Agricultural Economics Region 1, assigned officers from the Agricultural Economic Development Planning Division together with officers from the Agricultural Information Division to participate in the field visit accompanying the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Mr. Nares Thamrongthipyakul, during his inspection in Chiang Mai Province.
The visit was part of the Accelerated Dog and Cat Sterilization Project for Rabies Prevention and Control in High-Risk Areas of Chiang Mai Province for Fiscal Year 2026, held at Najaroen Market, Khuang Pao Subdistrict, Chom Thong District, Chiang Mai Province. During the event, the Deputy Minister met with farmers and distributed various agricultural inputs, including land titles under the Cow–Buffalo Bank for Farmers Project, Pradu Hang Dam native chickens, chicken eggs, animal feed, and UHT milk. He also visited the exhibitions showcased as part of the activity.
Afterward, the Deputy Minister traveled to the Chom Thong District Office in Doi Kaeo Subdistrict, Chom Thong District, Chiang Mai Province, to monitor and prepare for drought conditions in the Mae Klang Basin area. He also met with farmers and distributed survival kits to vulnerable groups in Chom Thong District.
Afterward, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Mr. Nares Thamrongthipyakul,traveled to the Chom Thong District Office in Doi Kaeo Subdistrict, Chom Thong District, Chiang Mai Province, to monitor and prepare for potential drought conditions in the Mae Klang River Basin area. He also met with farmers and distributed relief kits to vulnerable groups within Chom Thong District.
