On November 14, 2023, Mrs. Sucharee Picha, Director of the Office of Agricultural Economics 1, assigned Ms. Sakdamnoen Nonkiti, Director of the Research and Evaluation Division, and Ms. Nattinun Jantagae, Agricultural Economist, to participate in monitoring the situation of crop cultivation in a smart greenhouse using IOT technology at Boifarm Japanese Strawberry, Mae Rim District, Chiang Mai Province. The team visited the “Zero Agri” technology, which involves an automated irrigation and fertilization system powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI). Representatives from Routrek Networks, MRI, along with Ms. Kanya Kasem, an expert in agricultural natural resource economics from the Agricultural Economics Research Office, and officials from the Agricultural Economics Research Office’s Division of Agricultural Technology, Resources, and Environment also participated in the visit.
