On November 6, 2025, Mrs. Sucharee Picha, Director of the Office of Agricultural Economics Region 1, attended a meeting to discuss and consult on management strategies for agricultural products (potatoes and onions) in Chiang Mai Province. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Suriyah Khampuang, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Agricultural Extension, and held at the meeting room of the Chiang Mai Provincial Agriculture Office.
The purpose of the meeting was to review the current situation and forecast the production volumes of the two crops, as well as to consider management approaches for potatoes and onions in Chiang Mai Province for the 2025/26 growing season.
Also in attendance were heads of government agencies and related officials, including representatives from the Chiang Mai Provincial Agriculture Office, Chiang Mai Provincial Cooperative Office, Chiang Mai Provincial Office of Agriculture and Cooperatives, and the Office of Agricultural Extension and Development Region 6, Chiang Mai.
