On July 31, 2025, Ms. Sucharee Picha, Director of the Office of Agricultural Economics Region 1 (OAE 1), attended the first meeting of the Lamphun Provincial Subcommittee on Agricultural and Cooperative Development for 2025. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Chatree Thinnont, Deputy Governor of Lamphun Province, and held at the meeting room of the Provincial Agricultural and Cooperative Office, 1st Floor, Lamphun Provincial Hall, Si Bua Ban Subdistrict, Mueang Lamphun District, Lamphun Province. The agenda included the review and consideration of the Draft 5-Year Agricultural and Cooperative Development Plan for Lamphun Province (2023–2027), as well as monitoring issues in the agricultural and cooperative sectors of the province.
During the meeting, the Director of OAE 1 presented the Agricultural Economic Conditions Report for Q2 of 2025 and the Outlook for 2025 in Lamphun Province. She also provided comments on the draft 5-year development plan, focusing on the compilation of household income data for agricultural families. This initiative is to begin with longan farmers as a pilot group, aiming to establish a database to evaluate progress toward high-value agricultural products and to enhance the stability of agricultural livelihoods.
