On 4 December 2025, Ms. Sucharee Picha, Director of the Office of Agricultural Economics Region 1, assigned officers from the Research and Evaluation Division to attend a meeting and participate in a field visit to monitor the implementation of the Watershed Conservation and Community Quality of Life Development Project at the Mae Puka Water Gate and its water distribution system in Mae Puka Subdistrict, San Kamphaeng District, Chiang Mai Province, under the Fiscal Year 2025 budget.
The monitoring visit was led by Mr. Chatchawan Panya, Deputy Governor of Chiang Mai Province, together with heads of government agencies and relevant local officials. The delegation convened at the Mae Puka Subdistrict Municipality to receive proposals regarding solutions to road access issues leading to the Mae Puka Water Gate. Subsequently, the group conducted an on-site inspection of the project area to review operational progress.
The visit aimed to assess existing challenges and obstacles, as well as to consider appropriate management measures to enhance the project’s efficiency and effectiveness for the benefit of local communities and farmers in the area.
