On 24 November 2025, Mrs. Sucharee Picha, Director of the Office of Agricultural Economics Region 1 (ROAE 1), together with ROAE 1 staff, joined a field visit to follow up on the inspection mission of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives (Captain Thammanat Prompao) at Mae Ngat Somboonchon Dam, Inthakhin Subdistrict, Mae Taeng District, Chiang Mai Province.
During the visit, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives met with local residents to listen to their issues and needs, as well as received updates on the project to increase water storage capacity at the Mae Kuang Udom Thara Dam, an important initiative for water resource management in Chiang Mai Province. He then visited agricultural exhibition booths and displays by various government agencies showcasing information and achievements in the area.
