On October 5, 2025, Mrs. Sucharee Picha, Director of the Office of Agricultural Economics 1 , along with staff from the Agricultural Information Section, joined a field visit to monitor the flood situation and discuss solutions at the Chang Khoeng Samakkhi Bridge in Ban Kong Kan and at the multi-purpose pavilion of Chadaporn Hotel in Ban San Nong, Chang Khoeng Subdistrict, Mae Chaem District, Chiang Mai Province. During the visit, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives met with the public, delivered policy, and provided guidance on solutions to alleviate the hardship of those affected by the flood. The Deputy Minister also received a summary briefing on the overall land development and guidelines for resolving flooding in the agricultural areas of Ban Tor Ruea, Chang Khoeng Subdistrict, Mae Chaem District, Chiang Mai, a critical issue affecting the livelihoods and income of local farmers.
Afterward, the delegation followed up on a soil management and post-flood rehabilitation project, which includes land leveling, and the repair of the Mae Chaem River embankment in Ban San Nong, Chang Khoeng Subdistrict, Mae Chaem District, Chiang Mai, to ensure future stability and sustainability in local water management.
