On September 3, 2025, Ms. Sucharee Picha, Director of the Office of Agricultural Economics Region 1, together with officials from the Agricultural Economics Research Office, Household Socio-Economic Research Division, held discussions on the economic and social situation of longan-growing farm households, production and marketing conditions, as well as the impacts of natural disasters on agricultural products in the area. They also provided opinions on longan insurance and other economic crops in the northern region at the Jongsakul Meeting Room, Office of Agricultural Economics Region 1.
