On this occasion, the Director of OAE1 reported on the progress of Policy No. 9: Agricultural Services Facilitation, specifically the 2025 Crop Insurance Program. On April 8, 2025, the proposal for the 2025 Rice Crop Insurance Project was approved by the Agricultural Insurance Steering Committee (chaired by the Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives). Then, on June 26, 2025, the National Rice Policy and Management Committee (NRPMC) approved the project in principle. Subsequently, on June 30, 2025, the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC) held a Management Committee meeting and resolved to approve the subsidy for insurance premiums for credit customers. The project will next be submitted to the Screening Committee and the BAAC Board of Directors for approval before proceeding to the Cabinet for final consideration.
